What is your current spec and glyph set-up? Can you please provide some insight into why you chose the spec you did and how it enhances your game play and can benefit our raid?

Current Spec is restoration with an equally geared enhancement offspec. The restoration spec I use is consistent with the "preferred" specs discussed and theory crafted on Elitistjerks.com and Ensidia's shaman site. I've taken some additional points in the pushback talent instead of the improved healing wave talent because I tend to be a raid healer most of the time, making healing wave a less often used spell. My enhancement spec is also based on a "preferred" enhancement spec and I follow EJ's forum moderaters constantly. I use ShockandAwe to assist in my DPS and understand the priority system put in place to maximize DPS. I use appropriate glyphs also. For Resto: Riptide, Chain heal, and Earthshield. For Enhance: FS, SS, and Feral spirit

Can you consistently make our raid times of 10pm-1am (Pacific Time)?

Yes!! I've been looking for a guild that consistently raids this time of night PST. I tend to put the wife and kids to bed around 9-9:30 most nights. It is rare that I login prior to 9:30pm and I am almost always online by 10pm. |

What is your previous raiding experience?
|
I have raided through TOGC 10, TOC 25, ICC 10 (through to blood princes) and some ICC 25. My ICC 25 experience is limited because on my old server, I couldn't find a late night guild that I could raid with on 25 man content. |

Can you manage to: get out of void zones, avoid flame waves, maneuver around green clouds, and other such tools of destruction... On your own?

Yes - I use DBM, read tankspot.com for strats and placements, and often raid lead PuGs that I put together. |

What will you bring to this guild?
|
I bring a skillful play style, high self -awareness, an understanding of my class/job duties, and dedication to mastering content. I like a casual atmosphere, but at the same time expect that people who show up to raids do so prepared and with the understanding that you can't 1-shot progression content and you need to be flexible to down new bosses. |

What are you looking for in a guild?
|
I'm looking for a late night raiding guild. I prefer people who understand that real life happens, have families so understand that I can't be on 24/7, and are reasonably flexible. I like a casual atmosphere that doesn't scream at me because I make a mistake, but at the same time doesn't tolerate the same mistake being made 5+ times. |

What are you looking to avoid in a guild?
|
Drama. Loot Hording. Screaming. All of the things that "hardcore" raiding guilds tend to do. I want a guild that will help people learn an encounter rather than demean them because they don't know what they're doing when they've never been before. I also want a guild with people that have families and/or other responsibilities that enable them to understand the pressures of life rather than be 19, no job, no school, and on 19 hours a day and expect others to do the same. |

Do you have a working computer that allows you to stay connected during raids?
|
Yes - just bought a new comp 2 months ago that is fully capable of handling the graphics/connection requirements. 40+ FPS FTW! |

I would like to. I have equally geared: Prot/Holy paladin, Arcane Mage, and DPS/Tank DK. |

How did you hear about STD, what prompted you to apply?
|
I've been trying to find a late night raiding guild for a few weeks now and finally got smart and used wowprogress.com to look at top guilds on servers and read their raid times to find guilds that fit my needs. The description and information on the homepage looked attractive to me. |

I work for Deloitte Financial Advisory Serves LLP. I do business valuation/asset valuation and M&A buy-side advisory work for large private and public companies. I am 29 years old - married with 2 kids (ages 5/3). I am an avid Comic book movie fan and love to watch House. I read in my off time when I'm not playing WoW - mostly historical fiction and/or sci-fi. Huge football fan too. |
